Past Resort Activities
Our New Foster Dog!
(She is expecting puppies soon)
This is our new Resort foster dog that we received from the Henry County Humane Society (Kewanee). Catherine
is a 2 year old Dachshund/Beagle Mix. She is due with approximately 5 puppies very soon. The puppies will be available
for adoption, as will Catherine. Please contact Tara at 854-3506 for more information.
Catherine is adopted but her puppies will be available for adoption soon!
Nail Trims For Charity
Saturday, March 19 8am-2pm
All proceeds from every $5.00 nail trim done will go directly towards helping KCCDD,
which serves people with developmental, cognitive, and/or physical disabilities. They provide vocational, personal and social
living skills to maximize independence. Their mission: " KCCDD adheres to the values of advancing knowledge, being creative
in programs and activities, caring about the needs of individuals we work with, full development of potential, and dedication
to the mission of the organization."
Appointments are appreciated but walk-ins will be welcome. Please help
us donate to a great cause!
3/20/11 - A big heartfelt thank you to everyone that donated...we
raised $200!!! We plan to do this on a regular basis. If you have a local organization that you would like us

Above is a photo of the Smith clan surrounding their dad, Eddy Smith, who was terminally ill with cancer.
Sadly, Eddy lost his fight during the judging of the contest. His family and friends pulled together in his honor to
make this the winning photo. Rest in peace, Eddy...you will be missed by all who knew you!
2011 Pet Photo Contest
The winner of the 2011 Pet Photo Contest will win a 3-day stay at our resort.
This includes a "Day at the Spa" before heading home! Entries will be accepted till Friday, February 18, 2011
and judging will be through Friday, February 25, 2011. Email entries to marquislabradors@yahoo.com. *Limit 2 pictures per entrant. Only one pet will win. Submitted photos are displayed on  under the "2011 Pet Photo Contest" Photo Album. Our Facebook Fans are the judges and the photo with
the most "Likes" wins!
